Qualifications
Normally 10-12 years’ experience with a Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering.
Expert level in Revit and Navisworks; proficient in ACC, CDE platform and Dynamo for automation. Demonstrated experience leading BIM coordination on complex multi-discipline projects.
Business Development

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other consultants on BIM-related matters.
Support the BIM Manager in identifying opportunities to develop and promote 9E’s BIM capabilities.
Project Role
- Lead BIM coordination and daily management of BIM project data sets, workflows, and project set up across multiple concurrent projects.
- Take technical ownership of project BIM data sets, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate structural BIM activities with Architectural, MEP, Infrastructure, and other disciplines to ensure seamless project integration.
- Manage model federation, clash detection, issue tracking, and coordination workflows throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure proper implementation of Level of Development (LOD), Level of Information Need (LOIN), and project-specific BIM requirements.
- Manage and maintain project content libraries and source additional content as required for project teams.
- Perform model audits and quality checks to verify model accuracy, completeness, constructability, and information consistency.
- Create federated models and lead clash-detection/resolution sessions; chair and document BIM coordination meetings.
- Ensure construction document accuracy based on discipline BIM modelling and review outputs from BIM Coordinators and modellers.
- Adhere to and enforce the BIM Execution Plan and BIM project workflow criteria across the team.
- Provide technical support and guidance for BIM enabling software applications to the wider project team.
- Leverage BIM software and tools to coordinate design documentation and resolve design conflicts proactively.
- Evaluate project deliverable timelines and resource requirements in coordination with the project lead.
- Review and approve work completed by BIM Coordinators, Senior BIM Modellers, and BIM Modellers.
- Ensure full compliance with 9E BIM/CAD standards across all project deliverables.
- Coordinate with project leads, inter-department teams, and external consultants on assigned tasks.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 19650, project BIM Execution Plans (BEP), Employer Information Requirements (EIR), and client BIM standards.
- Review IFC exports, BIM exchanges, and authority submission packages to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Demonstrate proven experience in GCC projects and a thorough understanding of project deliverables in compliance with regional regulations and industry standards.
- Possess strong knowledge of BIM E-Submission procedures, requirements, and protocols for authority submissions, reviews, and approvals.
- Ensure all drawings, models, and project documentation meet company quality standards, client requirements, and applicable industry best practices.
- Maintain a high level of attention to project-specific details to support construction activities, facilitate contractor requirements, and minimize coordination issues during project execution.
- Participate in client meetings, design reviews, coordination workshops, and technical discussions.
- Proven experience delivering large-scale residential, commercial, mixed-use, hospitality, healthcare and special projects.
Company Role
- Liaise with the Design Systems team to ensure changes in procedure and standards are effectively communicated and implemented across project teams.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of and compliance with company BIM procedures and standards.
- Support development and continuous improvement of company BIM templates, families, and procedures.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and training to BIM Coordinators, BIM Modelers, and BIM Technicians.
- Excellent communication, coordination, problem-solving, and team leadership skills.
QHSE Responsibilities
- Understand, implement and follow 9E HSEQ policies.
- Implement and coordinate HSEQ procedures in your workplace.
- Comply with local regulatory authority guidelines and laws pertaining to HSEQ.
- Report any HSEQ incidents immediately to 9E HSEQ Dept. and to legal authorities if required.
- Abide Client/Contractor HSEQ requirements and acquire site induction before mobilizing at sites.
